Murdered MPA Asad Khokhar brother in revenge suspect tells Police

On Saturday, police revealed that a suspect identified as Nazim had confessed to the murder of MPA Asad Khokhar brother at a wedding in the provincial capital.

Details reveal that the suspect was at the event attended also by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. It is believed that the incident occurred there. The security lapses exposed by the grisly murder of the brother of the MPA have been exposed.

According to the suspect, Malik Mubashar was the brother of the lawmaker and was involved in the assassinations of his uncle and brother. During the initial interrogation at a station police station, he admitted that he had killed Malik Mubashar to retaliate.

Nazim gave details about the incident and stated that he arrived at the valima ceremony around 8:15 AM. He also said that guards didn’t stop him at the gate to conduct a body search.

He added that MPA Asad Khaokhar and Mudassar, his brother, passed him twice while he was seated with guests and waiting for the right time to kill him.

According to the suspect, he walked behind the chief minister of Punjab and climbed out of the marquee.

He told police officers that he opened fire on Malik Mubashar because the Punjab chief minister was in his vehicle.

Nazim also told police that he bought the weapon at Rs. 4,000.

Two men shot and killed the brother of Punjab MPA Asad Khaokhar at a Defence C farmhouse on Friday night.

Mubashir Khokhar, also known as Malik Goga was the victim. Another man was injured and was shifted to hospital.

Two people were arrested by police on the spot, according to police. Mubashir Khokhar was the victim. He was at Valima of his nephew MPA Asad Khokhar, when the suspects opened fire on him.

The Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, and other PTI leaders were also present at the event. They were safely taken out of the venue.
