Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrives in New York to start Seven Day US visit
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairperson of the PPP, arrived Monday in New York to begin his seven-day trip. This has drawn criticism and accusations from the federal authorities.
PPP leader is currently on a seven-day private tour of the US. Since the announcement of the visit by PPP, the government has been critical of Bhutto. PM Imran Khan’s aide Dr. Shahbaz Gill even suggested that Bhutto was looking for a deal with the US.
Khalid Awan, President of PPP-USA, clarified that Bhutto would not travel to Washington during his visit.
The PPP chairperson, who arrived in New York after landing, refused to talk to the media. Therefore, He said he was on a “personal trip” to the US.

PM’s aide claims Bilawal looking to make a deal with Washington
In a hard-hitting press conference, PM Imran Khan’s Special Advisor on Political Communication, Dr. Shahbaz Gill, accused Bhutto, of trying to make a deal with America through his upcoming trip.
Gill claimed Bilawal was “going to take [his curriculum vitae] to Washington in an effort to get a job”.
He had stated that Bilawal would urge the US government to assist him in America after he has reached America.
Gill stated that the PTI-led government would not allow Bilawal to achieve his goals. However, The premier’s aide said that they would not allow such a deal to be made.
He stated that 13 drone attacks in Pakistan were conducted during the tenure of Gen Pervez Musharraf, former president (retired), while PPP’s regime saw a staggering 340 attacks.
Responds to govt
Gill was rebuffed by the PPP, who accused Gill of making “puppet government” a concern about Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visit without any reason.
“Fawad Chaudhry and Shahbaz Gill are also concerned that Imran Khan cannot travel to the USA without diplomatic immunity due to pending cases in the USA courts,” Shazia Marri, Secretary of the PPP Parliamentarians, had stated in response to Gill’s press conference.
Therefore, Marri stated that Bhutto believed in the strength of the Pakistani people. It has been proved how General Elections 2018 were stolen by the PPP, creating obstacles in its path.
