E-11/2 harassment incident Islamabad Blackmailing gang operating in Capital with impunity

E-11/2 harassment incident Islamabad: Four criminals were arrested by the Islamabad Police as part of a gang that harassed and blackmailed people in different parts of the federal capital. They would then upload the compromising video clips to ruin their lives after torturing their victims.

They have involved in the E-11/2 harassment incident Islamabad. The gang uploaded a distressing video of humiliation. The PM and the interior minister were forced to swiftly take action against the perpetrators. This shocking and alarming video shows the brutal beatings and forced dressing that took place in the couple. The police believe that three more accomplices are currently on the loose and will be brought to justice. The men arrested are still bold. The leader of the gang threatened to release him from police custody within days in order to unleash vengeance.

An honest investigation would reveal the extent of the blackmailing and extortion network. However, it would also reveal the number of victims who were traumatized by the gangsters. This would allow the law to be applied against homophobic characters, which would in some ways lessen the victims’ trauma.

PM and Shaikh Rashid give the order to investigate

The PM and Shaikh Rashid, the Interior Minister, have both directed the police chief of the investigation to submit a report. Will the investigation be completed? It all depends on whether the police investigations aren’t influenced by criminals because of the level of control such networks routinely have over the law enforcement machinery. Qazi Jamilur-Rehman, IGP Islamabad, said that the ‘investigation officers’ are SP and not a Sub-Inspector.

Qazi Jamil ur-Rehman stated that a “ruthless campaign was launched against these criminals” while speaking to this correspondent. He stated that four of the accused had been arrested, while three others were being sought. The Golra Police registered an FIR under sections 354, 506-II, and 341, 509, 34 PCP against the accused. He said, “I am supervising investigations being conducted SP Saddar.” He stated that the special investigation team had prepared the preliminary report to be submitted to the PM or the interior minister.

While the audio and video recordings from this incident as well as from other incidents are admissible in court, an important part would be carried out by the Federal Investigation Agency (Cyber Crime Act) under technical investigations. According to the FIA officials so far, they have not been approached to look into the case. “We will cooperate fully to determine when and by who these video clips were uploaded,” an FIA official stated.
