The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 will run from April 11 to May 18. On February 8, 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the complete schedule for PSL X. Each team will play 34 matches in this league. The First match will be between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

PSL X Playoff and Eliminator Schedule

During the knockout stages of PSL 2025, the thrilling matches in the league determine the possibility of winning the trophy. Four out of six teams participate in the rustling for the trophy; two top teams compete with each other in a qualifier, while the third and fourth teams contest with each other in the Eliminator 1 round. The team winning in the qualifier and eliminator faces each other, and the winner clinches the trophy.

Significant Changes In PSL 2025

In PSL 2025, two radical changes have been made from the PCB side:

1—Competitive Salaries: The salaries have been significantly increased. PCB is trying to attract marquee players to the PSL and has raised their salaries to $400000. This step is taken to attract the top talented players who will agree to play in this league.

2- Draft After IPL Auction: The PSL draft might happen after the IPL auction so teams know which players are free. This will help them pick players who were not chosen in the IPL.

3- Revised Schedule: PSL 10 has been rescheduled from FEB-MAR to MAR-APR for two reasons. The primary reason is Ramadan Kareem, which is a very important and holy month for Muslims. The second reason is the Champions Trophy that is ongoing.

4- Double Matches Per Day: Moreover, one more big change is that now 2 matches will occur in a day. The first shift will start at 2 pm, while on the other hand, the 2nd shift will start at 7 pm. Umpires and captains will enter the ground half an hour before starting the match for the toss.
